In the past, Deuteronomium used to have a prayer circle, a group of voluntary people who wanted to support the band by praying for current subjects such as upcoming gigs etc. Now the prayer circle has been activated again. Our lead guitarist Kalle Paju is not able to participate the Wintertour 2008 due to the facts that he cannot get enough day-offs from his work, and he also wants to spend more time with his family. However, there’s no need to worry, since we got a great guy to fill Kalle’s place on this tour. Tero Kurkimaki, who’s a member of finnish metal outfit Luotettava todistus, will handle the lead guitar during the tour. The band is armed, ready and dangerous, so watch out Europe, here we come!

Deuteronomium will be touring Europe between Nov 11 – Dec 20. The tour starts from Helsinki, Finland, where the band plays at On the Rocks -bar. The next show is on Nov 14 at NordicFest, Oslo (NO). Then there’s a short brake before the metal storm really starts raging around Europe: In December the tour will visit at least six more countries, and to make the metal experience even more stunning, another finnish metal band, Immortal Souls, will jump in the tourwagon! Do not, I repeat: do NOT miss this opportunity to experience this finnish winterstorm!

Deuteronomium has been in studio again in September and October. Some new stuff has obviously been in the making, but it’s a bit too early to tell everything yet. Let’s just say that in early 2009 you will get some new earcandy!
